About Us

Real Care Pathways supports young people who are in crisis situations.  We share the same values in line with the “Every Child Matters” agenda ensuring that every young person we support can enjoy and achieve their fullest potential whilst preparing them for a successful Pathway transition to Adulthood and independence.

We support young people who may display complex behaviours, both in the community and in the home setting. We help Local Authorities to look after young people who are under Section 31 or Section 20 of the Children Act 1989. We offer bespoke care packages with our well trained staff who understand the challenge faced by most young people.

We are committed to ensuring equality of opportunities, anti-discrimination and anti-racism and draw attention of the staff and the young people, families and referring authorities to our equal opportunities policy and procedures.

Real Care Pathways limited requires individuals to promote equality of opportunity and this is at the heart of good practice at Real Care Pathways limited. It is the duty of everyone to report or correct discriminatory practice they observe.

Our Team Members

Our staff at Real Care Pathways understand that a history of abuse, broken placements and a lack of consistent care can reduce a young person’s ability to succeed and may result in high levels of disruptive, aggressive and even criminal behaviour. We also understand because of these behaviours it is often difficult to suitably place young people in a placement which meets their needs.

Real Care Pathways will take into consideration each young person’s individual needs to ensure we offer the best possible care and facilitate a successful placement. This will be achieved by having a well-trained and consistent staff team who are enthusiastic, young person focused, empathetic and diverse. Every team member that support young people within any of the RCP placements will have a great understanding of the “Every Child Matters” agenda, the Children Act 1989 section 20 and 31 and the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000. Equipped with the principles of these key pieces of legislation, our ethos “
Real Care, Real Pathways to independence” manifests to life.
